When can my holiday decorations be installed?
Holiday decorating begins October 1st and continues until Christmas. Removal begins on January 2. We install residential and commercial Christmas lighting.
How expensive is Christmas light installation?
Pricing can vary depending on the type of lights, the linear footage and number of strands and bulbs that are to be installed. Our minimum price starts as low as $300. Group discounts are available. Early bird discounts may apply to those getting installed prior to Thanksgiving, be sure to mention this at the time of the estimate.We meet or beat competitive quotes.
How much do you charge to wrap trees?
The pricing can vary depending on the size of tree, how tight you want the strands (the closer the strands are to each other, the more strands and labor required) and if branches are also wrapped. Please request a free estimate to get exact pricing.
How much are estimates?
Estimates are completely free, start by giving us a call!
How much advance notice do I need to schedule an installation?
Due to the high demand for Christmas lighting, we recommend estimate appointments be made at least 5 days in advance to ensure availability and scheduling.
Who provides the lights?
We provide installation of your lights or you can purchase ours. Leasing is available and is the most popular choice. We provide complete installation, materials (extension cords, power strips, etc.) and take-down. We neatly pack away the lights and store them at our location so you can use them next year. Storage is free to our customers and included in all quotes.
How many strands does it take to decorate a tree?
The number of strands varies depending on the size and desired visual effect.
Are there electrical requirements?
Yes, a large number of strands require a dedicated circuit. Lit Professional Lighting will not be held responsible for inadequate, faulty, or overloaded electrical sources at the place of service. You may be required to provide electrical connection from inside the house or hire an electrician to ensure minimal electrical requirements.
What is the maximum height the lights can be installed?
For residential customers, the maximum height our installers can safely install lights on a ladder is 40 feet. Bucket lift services are available for extended heights.
Do my holiday lights stay on all day?
The option of an outdoor timer is available – the use of an outdoor timer is recommended and can significantly cut down on energy costs. Common run times are from 6pm till 12am
What if a strand goes out?
Lit Professional Lighting will replace the strand free of charge. Individual bulbs are not covered. Simply call us at 281.961.0781 to schedule a lighting specialist to come out to fix/replace the malfunctioning strand. We are not responsible for damaged items due to rain, snow, wind, acts of nature, unnatural causes or breakage due to neglect. Premium insurance agreements can be purchased to cover all equipment for one holiday season with a 48 hour response time.
Who provides the lights and decorations?
Lit Professional Lighting provides all lights and decorations that is included in the quote unless you want us to install your lights.
What if I have my own lights?
We install, but do not offer any guarantees on lights you provide.
Do you rent and/or store the lights?
Yes, we provide storage to customers interested in year-round storage and leasing. Storage is free to our customers.
Will Lit Professional Lighting install lights outside the xxx area?
It all just depends upon the size of the job.
